The European General Practice Research Network is proud to announce the launch of the "The International Web-based Course on Research in Primary Health Care".

Objectives

  • To help participants to design a research question.
  • To give participants a basic understanding of research methods and biostatistics.
  • To give practical experience of development of study protocols and applications for research funding.
  • To give practical experience of use of computers for database manipulation, use of spread-sheets and statistical analysis.

The course is suitable for general practitioners and other primary care doctors,and other healthcare related professionals interested in research.

Description of the course

  • The course and website language interface is English.
  • The course contains 25 modules of teaching and practical half-day workshop as a final step of the course.
  • Each web-based module consists of a 15-25 minutes didactic lecture, links to complementary materials and a short post-module test.
